6) Michigan Central Station, Detroit

The Michigan Central Station opened in 1914. At the time, it was a business hub that welcomed hundreds of trains every day. As traffic began to slow down, though, so did the train tracks. The station closed down in 1988 and the ghostly building is currently under renovations. The owner has already invested millions of dollars into renovations.
