17. Chand Baori Well (India)
Chand Baori is one of the oldest and most attractive landmarks in India. It was built between AD 800 and AD 900 and consists of 3,500 steps over 13 stories. That’s a LOT of steps to get to water! It’s also rumored this is where the “Prison Scene” in the Dark Knight Rises was shot!
