14) Canfranc International Railway Station, Spain
When the Canfranc Station opened in 1928 it was the largest rail station in Europe. Just eight years later, though, the popular station was hit by the Spanish Civil War and WWII. While the station tried to keep its doors open, it just couldn’t pull through. Now, if you visit the abandoned building this is what you’ll find:
